What routes will I run and where will I drive as Marvin driver?

Marvin drivers support deliveries across our customer network. Available routes vary by location and position, with opportunities in both over-the-road and local driving roles depending on the location. During the hiring process, we'll review the specific routes, mileage expectations, and travel requirements for the position you're considering because we want you to feel confident in your decision to drive for us.

How much home time can I expect?

We understand that home time is a top decision-making factor for experienced CDL-A drivers. While home time varies by position and route, Marvin is committed to helping drivers maintain a healthy work-life balance. Most of our over-the-road drivers are home two days each week, and local driving opportunities allow drivers to return home daily. Specific schedules will be discussed during the interview process.

What equipment does Marvin's private fleet use?

As an experienced driver, we know you care about equipment quality. Marvin invests in well-maintained equipment to help drivers stay safe and productive on the road. During the hiring process, recruiters can provide details about the trucks, trailers, safety features, and technology used within the fleet. While some locations do provide sleeper trucks, all Marvin drivers are provided the opportunity for hotel stays when overnight travel is required.

How does driver pay work at Marvin?

Our goal is to provide candidates with clarity on guaranteed pay, mileage, and benefits during the interview process so you can decide if driving with Marvin is a fit for you. Marvin offers a guaranteed annual income with opportunities for drivers to earn more based on their role and driving schedule. Recruiters will walk through the compensation structure, pay protections, and earning potential during the hiring process. Currently, our guaranteed annual income is $75,000 but our average pay across the company is $95,000, with averages above $100,000 in some markets.

What qualifications are required to become a Marvin driver?

All our CDL-A driver roles require a valid CDL-A with at least one year of Class A driving experience. Additionally, we look for a safe driving record, and the ability to meet applicable DOT requirements. Additional qualifications and specific experience requirements can be found on each job posting.
